Huddersfield-based Eaton Smith Solicitors has announced that trainee, Martha Khan, has officially qualified as a solicitor, after successfully completing her training contract with the firm.

Martha joined Eaton Smith in 2021 as a legal assistant in the commercial property team, and she has now become a valued member of its dispute resolution team as solicitor, with her colleagues saying that her diligence and enthusiasm has shone throughout her time at the firm.

Martha commented on the milestone, saying, “I am so pleased that I have qualified after lots of hard work. I have loved my time being a trainee solicitor at Eaton Smith and am very excited to see where the next stage in my career takes me at the firm. A massive thanks to all my colleagues at Eaton Smith LLP for supporting me during this process.”

James Burgess, partner and training principal, said, “We are delighted that Martha has today qualified as a solicitor. She has throughout her training shown great enthusiasm in developing her skills and her role within the legal profession. I am incredibly proud to have worked with her as a mentor and, on behalf of the firm, I would like to congratulate Martha on her achievement and look forward to working with her as she embarks upon her career.”
