The Light, the newly opened cinema and leisure venue based at The Kingsgate Centre Huddersfield, are collaborating with Huddersfield BID for their annual Get your Geek On– Town centre takeover, with a very special screening of BATMAN BEGINS plus in-person Q&A on Friday 20 June from 6pm.
The Light are delighted to welcome Halifax-based concept designer Dan Walker to their venue which also offers 15 exciting leisure activities including bowling, high ropes, axe throwing, mini-golf, interactive darts plus much more alongside a great kitchen and bar offer.
Dan Walker worked on the film and many other modern cult classics, and The Light are thrilled that he will be appearing in person before the screening to talk about the one-in-a-lifetime experience, present his designs and answer guests’ questions.
Dan Walker : Q&A
Dan Walker is a leading UK Film and Television Concept Designer based in Halifax. He has created designs and illustrations for over 75+ productions, including The Dark Knight trilogy, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Mission: Impossible, and several Marvel and DC titles.
Working alongside Art, VFX, Props, Armoury and Costume departments; his notable designs include the 9/10/11th Doctors Sonic Screwdrivers, Christian Bale’s Batmobile interior, Matt Damon’s Mars surface suit helmet and Ben Affleck’s Bat-cycle.
