Wellbeing Advisor, Rosaleen Hird, has organised an International Women’s Day event to be held at Florence’s in Huddersfield town centre on March 8th.

Taking place from 10am to 3pm, the day will be filled with inspirational and relatable female speakers, with an opportunity to meet and connect with like-minded women, as well as a delicious lunch.

The guest speakers are Rachel Devereux, Claire Pope-Mitchell, Dr Maxine Stead, Gen Edwards and Leigh Armstrong.

The event ticket includes all refreshments, a goody bag and a donation to the chosen charity for this event, ‘Hero’s fight against DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy)’. They will also be running a fun Easter Egg raffle on the day, with all proceeds going to charity.

Speaking about the event, Rosaleen said, “I’m proud to support local businesses in Huddersfield and in turn they support us at our events. This will be the third International Women’s Day Celebration I’ve organised, with the same format, and each year is even better than the last.”

The caterers for this event are Lost Property Coffee Shop & Kitchen, Huddersfield.
