The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has announced its flagship business event, MY Conference Kirklees, is returning for 2024 with a day of networking and learning.
The free-to-attend conference will take place 8am to 3pm on Wednesday 13 March 2024 and is set to welcome over 200 delegates and 45 exhibitors to The John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield.
The conference aims to reinforce Kirklees as a hub for commercial activity in the wider West Yorkshire region and to showcase the thriving business community in the area.
MY Conference Kirklees will feature workshops on the importance of intellectual property and the latest updates on Government Research and Development (R&D) tax credits policies as well as featuring talks by start-up support agency AD:Venture and local business, Bespoke Stairlifts.
Attendees will be able to have professional headshots taken by local photographer, Liz Baker, in the afternoon and get a taster of the Chamber’s MY Golf Events with indoor putting. MY Golf Events invites businesses and their employees from all sectors and specialisms to come together on the golf course for a series of fun and active networking events across the year. It is currently gearing up for the 2024 season.

“The conference was first launched in 2010 and has since become an unmissable event in the local business calendar. It offers the perfect opportunity for businesses to raise their profile, connect with one another, access local support and find out how they can get represented through MY Chamber.
“Our workshops this year will be covering two very important topics, intellectual property from the viewpoint of a creative, and research and development tax credits. I do hope businesses from across Kirklees, whether they are sole traders or SMEs, can join us on the day.”
