Our second annual HU Conference was a huge hit! With attendance over 100 at the Accu Stadium on Wednesday 22nd October, our team was proud to provide the local business community with such a productive and insightful event.

We had the privilege of spending an afternoon with a group of people passionate about delivering a bright future for Huddersfield. So much ambition and optimism, but just as critically, a real commitment from both the statutory authorities and our wonderful local institutions and businesses to work together, cut through red tape, expedite the planning process, maximise funding opportunities, attract investment, improve transport and connectivity, and ensure we invest in our young people and those who are facing adversity to build a town where we all rise together.

We heard from the below speakers on all that Huddersfield has to provide and how investors can get involved:

Carole Pattison, Council Leader
Steve Mawson, CEO Kirklees Council
David Shepherd, Kirklees Council
David Threlfall-Sykes, HTAFC
Felix Kumi-Ampofo, WYCA
Tim Thornton, University of Huddersfield
Neil Dickinson, Holdson Ltd
Alastair Morris, Accu Ltd
Edmund Thornhill, Thornhill Estates
Dan Smith, LDC
Adnan Shaikh, South Street Asset Management
